What does “SEREN” mean?
“Seren” means “star” in Welsh and is also inspired by the Latin serenus, meaning “clear” or “tranquil.” It reflects our philosophy—helping your skin shine with clarity, health, and balance. The name is also a nod to Dr. González’s middle name, Esther, which comes from the Persian word meaning “star,” symbolizing brightness, guidance, or hope.

Dr. Noelani González is the only dermatologist in Puerto Rico who has completed a fellowship in cosmetic dermatology accredited by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS). A fellowship in cosmetic dermatology is an advanced, specialized training program that goes beyond standard dermatology residency. Can I undergo injectables treatments while pregnant?
Most injectables treatments like Botox and dermal fillers are not recommended during pregnancy as a precaution. If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, we can discuss alternative options to maintain your skin health safely.

Are your treatments safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Some skincare treatments and products are not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
